21 Ottobre 2011. Muktinath (3800 m) – Tatopani (1200 m). Decimo giorno. Trasferimento in jeep fino a Jomosom ed in autobus locali fino a Tatopani via Marpha, Tukuche e Ghasa. La strada è solo una pista sterrata tutta buche e, nell'ultimo tratto, assai pericolosa per i profondi precipizi che si aprono sul fiume Kali Gandaki. Il nostro autobus, pieno fino all'inverosimile, più volte oscilla paurosamente sul filo della carreggiata in bilico sull'abisso che si spalanca sotto ai miei occhi. Sette lunghe ore di viaggio. Cena e pernottamento all'Hotel Himalaya.
October 21, 2011. Muktinath (3800 m) – Tatopani (1200 m). Day ten. Transfer by jeep as far as Jomosom and by local buses as far as Tatopani via Marpha, Tukuche and Ghasa. The road is just a bumpy track which, in the final part, grows particularly dangerous owing to the deep precipices over the Kali Gandaki river. Our small bus, packed with people and luggage, bounces and sways fearfully many a time on the edge of the wide-open abyss before my eyes. Seven hours' ride. Overnight stay at the Himalaya Hotel.
